Airs and Graces
(Lytton 2000) Cream lemon with paler midribs and a green throat. The petals are gently ruffled right to the throat. Produces lots of flowers and it is worth taking the time to smell the flowers.

(Moldovan1984) An extremely dark maroon red or "black-red" with a small yellow green throat. Highly recommended where dark colours are required.

(Moldovan 1990) A beautiful pastel flower of ivory, blushed with pale lavender and edged white. Has a yellow green throat. Very pretty.

(Stamile 1991) Mustard yellow with wine-purple eye and partial edge. This highly acclaimed daylily has won awards in both the U.S.A. and Europe.

(Stamile 1990) A green and white blend with a green throat and near white flower.

Nordic Night
(Salter 1991) A purple flower with a green throat which is edged in white and radiates out down the midribs of the petals. It looks like a tasteful explosion. The edge of the petals are edged white too.

(Spalding 1986) A sumptuous cream flower with a green throat. Good performer when established and a great favourite here. Registered as evergreen but dormant here.

(Stevens 1951) An old favourite of traditional lily form. Mauve- pink with a yellow throat. High flower production accounts for its continued popularity. AGM.

(Ferguson 1980) A red bitone with a green gold throat. The sepals are a cinnamon tone making this an unusual flower of autumnal shades.

(Oaks 1984) A clear candle red self with a yellow gold throat.

Riley Barron
(Munson 1977) It has been said that this daylily defines the colour red. Bright, almost blood red blooms provide a vibrant splash of colour in the border.

Russian Rhapsody
(Munson 1973) Unusual violet purple with a yellow throat and darker band. Was awarded the Lennington Award 1989.

Sabra Salina
(Wilson T.1991) Probably the most beautiful pink diploid that we have ever seen. The ruffled flower is clear, pale pink and has a soft gold halo around the small green throat. Also reported to be an excellent parent.

Shaman
(Gates 1985) Canary yellow, ruffled flowers with a green throat. Rather slow to establish but then an excellent performer.

(Carr 1993) A floral confection of creamy butter yellow with a ruffled gold edge and a green throat. Gorgeous!

(Shooter 1998) A very pretty shade of greyed-lavender with a light purple eye. The petals are edged in white. The throat is yellow. Not well known yet!

(Guidry 1980) Rose pink with a narrow deeper rose band around the large lemon to green throat. Pearly white midribs adorn both petals and sepals. Flowers open bright and early in the morning.

(Sikes 1985) A striking orange flower with a solid scarlet eyezone. Pictured in the Munson book. Rare.

(Irish 1975) The lavender mauve-blue flowers are held higher than registered and well above the foliage. This does seem to sell on sight which is why it is not often in our catalogue.

(Millikan 1988) A pale yellow-green recurved flower with a deep green throat.

Custard Candy
(Stamile 1989) Round cream yellow flower with a circular maroon eyezone and a green-yellow throat. We have enjoyed a gold edge to the petals. A super daylily, won the Stout Medal 1999.

(Smith, F. 1986) A heavily ruffled yellow flower with a green throat. Many blooms open simultaneously on an established plant.

(Chesnick 1985) A bright grape-purple with a darker eyezone and a greeny-yellow throat. More mid season than early here.

Siloam Flower Girl
(Henry 1980) A very pretty rose pink with a darker eyezone. The colours are more subtle than many of the "Siloams",which often feature bold or contrasting eyes.

Miniature Flowered Plants
Cranberry Baby
(Croker 1984) A round, lightly ruffled, cranberry red blooms with a deeper eyezone and veining. An extremely pretty little daylily that is always in demand, it is one that when divided needs to be grown on as it resents being divided into single pieces. So it is divided and grown on for some time before it reappears in our catalogue. When replanted it multiplies quite quickly.

(Salter E.H. 1986) Palest ivory- white with a touch of apricot; a chartreuse lemon throat and a black-purple eyezone.

(E. Salter 1989) Palest ivory yellow with an eye pattern of violet purple that feathers out into the pale base colour of the flower. Very pretty!

(Hudson 1979) Tiny pale ivory, cream pink flowers with a lime throat that usually reblooms.

(Hudson 1979) Lemon-chartreuse flowers in profusion. Usually reblooms in September here.

Tetraploid Siloam Red Toy
(Henry 1975 Converted) Round, bright red flowers. Converted to tetraploid for use in hybridising. Said to be brighter and clearer colour than the diploid original. Should anyone wish to use this plant for hybridising we cannot absolutely guarantee that this is a stable conversion, although we have no reason to believe otherwise.

Blackberry Candy
Gold with bold black eyezone. Impressive, but flowers have less substance than the "original" and slightly less intensity of colour. On the other hand, they open better.

Asterisk
(Lambert 1985) A greyed-lavender pink with a green throat. This is classified as an Unusual Form and spatulate, the latter meaning the petals are wider towards the ends.

(Hansen 1992) Cream peach flower which has a green throat which radiates out to the burgundy eyezone.

(Benzinger 1971) A bright clear yellow flower.

Fun Fling
(Childs 1981) A purple-mauve flower which has a green-yellow throat and white midribs in the centre of the petals and a matching white edge to the petals. The petals and sepals recurve in this 'Unusual form'. The petals and sepals being widest where they curve under making a shape like a spatula.

Helter Skelter
(Lambert1981) An extraordinary daylily flower shape. The sepals tightly curled up (or rolled up) from the sides, in contrast to the petals which in comparison are wide. The throat is green, radiating out to yellow, then a pinkish-burgundy.

Ostrich Plume
(Fass 1962) The flower has a green throat that blends into the greenish yellow flower. The end of each petal and sepal curl under.

Pink Super Spider
(Carpenter 1982) A large pink flower, with a green throat that radiates out then blends with white midribs into the petals and sepals. The shape can vary, sometimes a triangle and other times more star shaped. Quite stunning!
